The Indonesian Parrot Project
YouTube - Dedicated to the Indonesian Parrot Project
YouTube - A Story About Bo the Moluccan Cockatoo This is from the same group. The Video of Bo, the M2. If you make it through that without losing it, then go to: Bo even though he is no longer w/ us in body ... continues to add chapters to his story. Please read on to understand, click on the BoBo Memorial 2007 button. Second Chance Birds Main Index Read his story. The Indonesian Parrot Project is an ongoing work to educate and reclaim the dignity of these beautiful and intelligent creatures. They are 'victims' of their own success, and this year need help. Stewart and others left at the end of last month to go back and continue to teach... educating those there to care for the wild populations left. I guess at heart, I'm a conservationist of life... I truely love to see the eagles flying free, and know that my guys would under other circumstances be better off living their lives as they should... as they were born to do... Angel-Rose's little stint out in the world showed me that. She and her kind are not helped by captive breeding.... IMO..... They will never survive in the wild. I know where they will be going when I can no longer care for them, and have put the funds aside for that continued care.... But my heart knows where they belong. |
