so sad. I kept thinking in my mind what that bird was thinking and how scared.

I do want to know though who would just put their arms or hands in a cage with a macaw? My Teal oud rip thier fingers and hands off!

I agree, all I can think of is how terrified that poor bird must be!

Lets hope that Max DID get a few good bites in there...poor bird and poor family. I pray for his safe return

Obviously somebody who knows nothing about birds, who just thinks he may be worth some money.
I keep picturing somebody stealing my babies. It just makes me sick.

That is just ridiculous, and people wonder why I have so many pets and dont like people. I remember when I lived in Wichita, KS. The Petco there had a U2 named Sunshine, she was a very sweet bird, and 3 guys went in, stuffed the bird and 3 ferrets in their coats and just walked out the door. They got Sunshine back thankfully, but not the ferrets.
And here where I am now, Petland had some guys walk out with a cinnamon GC. They sold the bird for crack but they were all caught, even those that took the bird from the thieves and the bird is still in the store today I believe. The poor thing, nobody seems to want him.
Its just sad how people are these days. Im even afraid to go to the store anymore for fear of what might happen.

also, it is highly possible they do not have somewhere to house Max. if they knew anything they would have made off with a cage from the store too. if anything he's gonna be put into a too small cage. Poor Max, hope he's returned soon
