I am not trying to upset you,and I dont know your backround with birds, but it doesnt sound like you really know what your doing. Make sure you really research this because it isnt a simple thing. You have to know what to do with the babies, how to take care of them if mom doesnt, special feeding, etc. Make sure your birds have good backrounds too. Goodluck...
Here are some personal experiences: Breeding Cockatiels,Photographs of Breeding Baby Cockatiels,Handfeeding Cockatiels,Cockatiel Chicks,Baby Birds, And here is some good info: Winged Wisdom Pet Bird Magazine - Breeding Cockatiels - pet parrots &exotic birds. |

You may also lose your birds as pets - once they become breeders they often want nothing to do with you. Unlike dogs and cats. You cannot MAKE them like each other. Like sophies mom said...its best to do allot of breeding and handfeeding research online before you even think about it and then if your still interested we will be happy to help. The other thing is often birds handraised and pets tend not to make the best breeders as they dont know how to raise babies (they learn from flock expirience and their own parents) Often handfed babies are pulled from the nest too young to be imprinted with the learned behaviors. the first few clutches from normal breeders can be a heartbreaking expirience much less from pets. There is a ton of things to think about healthwise as well as "do we really need more cocketiles in the world?". Thats your choice but there are SOOooo many needing homes - just check out craigs list, petfinders, and many bird rescues...Cockatiels are one of the most popular birds in these places.
