New Leg Band Registry
Hopefully, this is okay to post here, if not please move it, delete it if needed.
I'd like to let everyone know about our NEW Leg Band Registry that is now in full operation. This is a FREE Service to all to use and we NEED BREEDERS to input their leg band info for our database! You can find it here: Leg Band Registry I always see people asking about who is the breeder of the bird they have, and much of it is a search to find who is who and where. Although a Leg Band Registry is not any good if Breeders out there do not add their leg band codes into databases. So if you are a breeder of parrots and you use leg bands, please check out my link above. This Registry is NOT for pet owners to add their pets band info, it is for the breeder's band info but pet owners can search the database! Thanks!

Great idea; we can never have too much information. But are you aware of the yahoo group that is devoted to tracing legbands? Perhaps you can combine talents and develop a more complete listing.

Jan is actually a part of the YH group! There's a few different sites that have information on Leg Bands, but hers may prove to be quite good!

Yes, sure I am aware of the Yahoo Group Registry... it works totally different though, plus you have to join the group to view any info there. This type of Registry that I have is quick and to the point. Should a user not locate their band code in our database, then the breeder did not enter their info into our database... so then, from there it would be a dead end because the breeder is not listed in the database which would be true or the same for any database driven search. Thanks!
 Oh yes, I am on the Yahoo Group for their Registry as Monica pointed out! In reality, sorry to say but I find it quite confusing to search.

Thanks guys, I do hope it will be successful and it will take a while to build up the Database with breeder leg band codes. Please let anyone know about it and if you have a website and can place a link on your site for the Leg Band Registry, that would be fantastic too!

Hi KrytterKrys - are you sure you submitted your info? Are you a breeder? Anyway, I did not receive your info if that is the case, you are not in the database... please try again if you are a breeder with leg band codes. Thanks.
