How many of you have ruined jewelry courtesy of your birds?

I've stopped wearing earings now, it's too painful when Chirpy bites them and my ear!! She does nibble on my ring too but so far hasn't damaged it, just nipped my finger a lot!!

my earlobes are stretched to over an inch...but im lazy and usually wear one inch double flared plugs/eyelets
when i wear the stainless eyelets i have to be careful because dude will grab the bottom which includes my lobe and im afraid one good bite would cut it right in half...that would be a trip to the ER surely....

Well I took all of my broken chains, bracelets, earrings, rings, and did that.....

Well most of us would be taking a lovely cruise with Xaf as captain! Oh... maybe we'd better stick to a land vacation.

we used to wear jewelry and watches all the time till we got our fids, Hannah WILL destroy any watch I am wearing so now its pocket watches for me, and like someone said before about turning in our gold for cash, well we ended up turning most of all our gold in, why not? we can't wear it anyway......we wear birds now! The good thing about it is now we have some extra cash to get them more things to chew and tear up lol.........LMB
