I have a Kodak DX7590, the 10x optical zoom is great for those long shots!

I see you've updated to 8 mpx. I used to have a 3.1 mp Kodak DX 4330, but last Christmas I updated to a 7.1 mp Kodak Z710. It has 10X optical zoom as well. My favorite editor is Microsoft Digital Image Suite 2006 that I picked up for only $10.00 on a clearance rack. The box had a crushed corner, but was still factory sealed. The Kodak software is that bad either.
