Two for now. A rescued Quaker and a Cinnamon GCC. But we are getting a Jenday soon and I really want a Meyers. The bird expo didn't help.

Puck on my head!

5 budgies : Lola, Verde, Indy, Seely, and Brennan (all but one rescued form a guy that was going to "set them free" since he didn't want them anymore)

1 parrotlet - Peabody (same situation as the 4 budgies)

2 Conures - Mango and Kiwi (1 Jenday, 1 Sun - the Sun was a rescue)

2 tiels - Jonas and Sunshine

1 OWA - Sydney (rescued from people that kept her locked in a closet because she made to much noise - go figure. I guess they didn't know birds make noise, often times a lot of it)

And tomorrow 1 U2 (Gracie) will be coming home (taken from a lady that can no longer care for her due to her health issues and frequent hospital stays)

Pam- I have a conure (Sun) named Kiwi too!

newbie

I only have one bird. A female lovebird named Zoey, which is a total handful. Would love to get some parakeets though, if i can find a breeder that i like. Birds of any kind are hard to find in my area. There doesnt seem to be very many breeders and i really am hesitant about buying from pet stores.

If anyone knows of a good breeder in southern West Virginia please let me know.
