I like Good Bird and CPQ as well. No subscription as of yet... but seriously considering CPQ!

I do buy back issues and a current issue here and there of both of these.

I occasionally pick up Bird Talk at the book store if it has something interesting... but for the price it is rarely worth it IMO.

I used to get Bird Talk, many years ago. The issues started piling up and eventually I let it expire. It seemed like they just kept going over the same info all the time and I didn't feel like I was getting a lot out of it. It may have improved over the years though, I haven't checked one out in a while. I also used to get one called Bird Breeder. It was very informative but I am not sure if it is even still available- that was years ago too.

I subscribe to Birdtalk, and I used to get BirdTimes although I think maybe they went out of business? The Parrot Magazine looks good, but boy is a subscription high. Maybe I will ask for a subscription for Christmas.

A great site to check out magazines and newsletters on birds is BirdsnWays Guide to Pet Birds, Parrots & Exotic Birds Care & Breeding. Breeders, classifieds, products & information. Macaws, cockatoos, cockatiels, amazons. It lists a TON!
