i give shadow the opportunity to take one every day.... sometimes he HATES the water and wont get in... other times he cant jump in fast enough..

its different for each bird. Benji would do it maybe once a month in his water bowl if it was up to him. Zoey bathes in her water bowl about every other day. Sophie I give a shower about every third day. Once in awhile she tries to bathe in her water bowl. That is hilarious to watch!!

Noel - hates showers.... given choice, would probably take one once a month if even that... in her water dish

Charlie - given a choice probably a few times a week.... less I can entice him otherwise...

Casey - she loves spritzes all times, but given choice probably few times a month if not longer in water dish

Budgies - vary but most times they do like spritzes from a bottle

Cockatiel family - never if given choice... unless its like rain or a spray bottle... then would accept it most of the time

Tomi Girl - she varies.... sometimes she likes it, sometimes she doesn't.... haven't really calculated it though

Bourkes - seem to prefer rain or spray bottle... occasionally...


Depends on type of bath given... as most enjoy spray bottle, but some wouldn't bath otherwise.... none like the sink or shower...

cookie would live in a bowl of water if he was allowed to.he actually has a swim sometimes,he likes to float across the top of the water and then ducks his haead under and makes the water go across his back kinda like a duck.

PeeksBoo loves a bath from the kitchen faucet, usually only in warm weather. Although, on Christmas day, he was sitting on my shoulder as I was washing a glass, and he started puffing up and making his way down my arm. He definitely was in the mood for a bath.
His last bath was in early October. I do try to get him to take one at least once a month, but he usually doesn't show interest.

Cory gets a shower every morning.
Zen takes a bath maybe 1-2 times a week on her own in her bathtub.

My guys both get a full shower once a week. If they are molting I try and shower them twice a week. Lulu will not shower two days in a row.

Doyle bathes everyday. He usually prefers to go into the sink, but if we don't get around to it he gets frustrated and goes to his waterbowl. Danny bathes himself in his water bowl and won't go in the sink. Prinny hates baths, but we make her take one about once a week.
