Not really, if anything we have spent more in the past couple of months. We have adopted in total 4 new fids in the past several months. That has meant new cages because all but one came in way to small cages, also new play stands, toys etc...

So our animal population is 3 dogs, 1 bunny and 5 fids... I have started making most of the fid toys now though, but that is about the only reduction. The dogs still get everything they got before, tons of milk bones and pigs ears and raw hides along with a different food for our "old Man Lab" he is 12 years old. The bunny eats fruit and veges and bunny pellets, so we have just increased the fruits and veges on our shopping list by quite a bit because of the fids.

Yes bottom line, we are spending more. I love them all the same.

Same here. Maybe it's because of where I live, I'm not feeling any bad economy. It's been said that when the rest of the country is feeling the pinch, we are usually doing good. Our economy here is doing wonderful so really nothing has changed for me. I should be cutting back on my spending because I tend to spend more then I save.

I always spend about 10 dollars on toys and then of course, food.

I have never been a position to spend lots of money in general. I do sometimes. Lately I have been buying wood and cutting it myself thanks to my new 20 dollar drill and 50 dollar ryobi miter saw!

I really need to get some foraging toys and am trying to figure out how to buy or make them on a budget.

The economy isn't hurting me. I make more this year than last. I need to to cut out some expenses and maybe that will help.
