We use 2 Honeywell Hepa units....one is close to Sydney's condo to collect all the dander when he's preening. So far working very well. We can notice the difference.

We have small units rather than 1 big one....IMHO this is more efficient. We plan on adding a couple of more in the next month or so.

I've got a Hamilton Beach model 04161 in my 11' x 12' bird room. I just love it. It is a bit louder on the high settings than some of the more expensive products available -- but I only run it on high for a short period when I'm cleaning cages, other than that the lowest setting is more than sufficient.

With a cockatiel, and a quail who loves dust baths, I couldn't live without that air filter!

I have a Sears Best Hepa filter in the bird room. To clean up around the cages I am armed with a HD Shopvac with a extra heavy duty filter bag and a Hepa Cartridge Filter. There is still a slite dust problem but nothing like it was I think one more big hepa air cleaner is needed.
