Question Toy rearranging in cages...

Hi everybody!

I was just wondering on average how long does it take you when you decide to rearrange the toys in your fids' cages? It seems to me I must get a little too "into it"... the arranging, then rearranging. I could happily spend well over an hour and a half making sure I've got everything looking fun & "just right"... not even realizing how much time has passed!!

I really do enjoy every minute of it though!!!

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this same thing...

I look forward to seeing the replys.

Thanks

Yeah, it always takes me ages, will she like it, will she have room, can she get to her food and water, has she got somewhere to hide! I spend all that time and end up really happy with it, she gets in, takes one look and turns her beak up!!! Always takes a while til she likes any new set up, fussy thing!

It used to take me forever but now it doesn't take too long at all. I will spend forever arranging perches though but the toys just go in cuz my babies will find them wherever they are, lol.

It takes me forever - a couple of hours or more. I am a little neurotic and everything has to be just perfect, so I will end up rearranging probably close to 5 times or more until I have the perfect setup. I will walk away, take a seat and look at the cage and probably notice something I don't like and have to start over again. It takes me forever, but I enjoy it because it is time spent with the birds and the new arrangement is for the birds, so it makes it all worth while.

i limit myself to 30 minutes or so because if i dont keep it in check i could spend an indefinite amount of time fiddling with everything

though im not messing with stuff in the cage so much because no one hangs out in there other than to sleep...but putting hooks in the ceiling and hanging stuff JUST right
yeah
i could be totally out of control

I spot clean my cages every day. But once a week, everything comes out and gets a good scrubbing, and the cages go out for sanitizing.
By the time I do this, and re-arrange the cages, it's a good 4 hours- and I only have 2 cages!!!
