Both birds are out ten to thirteen hours.

On weekends, pretty much all day. Cookie hangs out in her cage eating and playing until i wake up, and then once i wake up I open the door and before its even open all the way she launches herself out the door and flies to her play area. Then all day after that she's either in my/her room playing, eating, and just hanging out (with me doing random things in there with her) or out sitting on the couche getting treats or just hanging.

On weekdays she's in her cage until my sister gets home from school (she gets off before me) my sister will come into my room, open her cage and let her go to her play area, and then check on her until i get home. Then when i get home she'll spend the day flying around my room, the living room, playing with me and whoever is around, and doing my homeword with me :)

I don't think I've ever had a consistent day. During regular work days I come home at 3 and she's out 'til about 9 or 10. When I was working "AGT" last weekend I think she got about an hour and a half which was the time I got home, ate, showered, and then went to bed. Which sucked, but she handled it pretty well.

When I am home it's about 10 hours. When I have to work he has to go back in his cage, since even though DH is home he doesn't watch him so he has to be in the cage. Then he is only out for a few hours in the morning before I leave.

My birds are out all day - they are lucky!!! Sometimes my bf puts them in their cages for a "break" (Emi and Oliver like to fly and sometimes they just need a break). I love having them out and watching them play. They are pretty well behaved, too, so I definitely lucked out!

It really depends. If my husband is at home all day, they are out. They usually will go back in for a nap or two. On the weekends if we are home they are out. So in average I would say never less than 6 no more than 10.

It all depends on the day.

There are days here and there when Pickle doesn't get out at all. And there are days when he comes out around 10am and doesn't go back in his cage until sometime the NEXT morning :p

I do try to aim for 1-3 hours before work and 1-2 hours afterwards, depending on if he's in the mood to stay up late or not.
