I love my Senegal Fidrych. I am curious about bigger birds, but my wife has made it clear that she does not want anyone bigger than Fidrych in the house! :)

I like my bigger birds like the boys (Merlin, Arthur and Bogey) but then I have such a soft spot for my cockatiels too. Personally I just like something a bit chunkier that I can see easily when shutting the dishwasher, fridge or whatever else they've gone to investigate. I haven't got the set up for a large macaw but still got to love them, just from a distance.

I like a bigger bird. I find that they are a bit easier. My Dharma is just so little that I think sometimes she is very fragile compared to the other two.

I have slowly become a big bird person - I dont know why but I just adore the bigger birds (Neko is considered a big bird to me, but our completed flock will include a Hahn's and grey one day). I love all birds but the bigger ones just strike a chord in me - something I never thought Id say!!!

Interesting question!

I picked small b/c most of my experience has been with smaller parrots (budgies, lovies and brotos). If and when I decide to add to my flock, I think that it will likely be another small parrot (linnie or conure).

I love the larger birds but I just don't see myself having a macaw or cockatoo in my lifetime. Maybe a poicephalus, pionus or grey, though!
