what kind of tree to use as play gym?

We will be moving in a new home in a few months and i am thinking ahead to what kind of cage and gym we will have for our quaker.

For the cage i am thinking of building a cage inside a nice cabinet.

For the gym im thinking of ideas for something that will look good since it will sit in our living room. But also enjoyable for the bird.

We are pretty handy so we could make anything, but are also prepared to buy something expensive if need be.

The only thing i can think of is some kind of a tree. something that looks natural and something that can be cleaned without too much effort. does anyone have any ideas on what i could use? or any other ideas on making a gym that would look good in a living room. i dont mind having colouful toys and such in there but i dont want multicolored and such.
