Great Stuff....

We have used Gaurdian Angel on our really sick budgies and it's nothing short of a miracle...even our vet was impressed. Take a look at all the different things available for birds welbeing on both sites... the Gaurdian Angel is particularly great....has saved many a sick bird in our house...and when I say sick I mean, near death sick...even a vet couldn't do anythingHope it's of use.

Can you tell me a bit more about this product? I have a friend who is dealing with a sick Macaw. She has had him to top vets and they are unsure as to what is ailing him. He was doing much better and someone recommended this product. Now, I am certainly not blaming Guardian Angel, but her last email to me was that she started giving it to him at the advice of a friend and he went downhill again and had to go back to the university. I had never heard of it and she was not sure exactly what it was. That was the only thing she had done different.

In light of the fact that the vets do not know what is wrong with her macaw, I wish to make clear I am NOT blaming the Guardian Angel - I am just curious as to what it is. Thanks!

All I can say is that I have had budgies that have fallen gravely ill and our avain vet has pumped Bytril into them for weeks on end and has given them supportive treatment at the vets but before we had found these bird products we always had birds dying on us.....we had a very sick budgie a few years back confirmed by the vet as having Mega Bacteria and even though the vet did all he could, he sent him home to basically die...even he had done all he could. I took the bird home and provided a warm environment and contacted the Bird Care company who advised Gaurdian Angel...one flat teaspoon in a quarter pint of water for two weeks, made fresh everyday. As you can imagine, the bird wasn't very interested in any food but I provided lots of fresh millet sprays and even though he wasn't eating much he was drinking the Gaurdian Angel...within a week he was eating again and he grew stronger...he survived another five years with no problems and died from old age. Now when our birds are going through moulting or look a bit under the weather I give them a two week treatment of GA and it really helps them...I wouldn't be without a pot of it. Another product I was recommended to try if the GA didn't work was the Poly Aid and the Spark....luckily I didn't need it but if I ever did, I wouldn't hesitate to try it...I have 100% faith in their products and their telephone support team is second to none...they are always willing to advise and help. You could try phoning them, telling them about the bird and asking for their advice...To be honest, I doubt very much it has anything to do with the GA as I have lots of friends now that use it with great results and have never heard of a bird getting worse on it...I hope this helps.

fluffy_stitch, I accept your apology, thanks for that, much appreciated. I really only wanted to help...I know what it's like to have sick birds and feel helpless as to what to do for the best.
