What a great Aviary

We're sending out a thank you to the myriad of small donors from all over who helped in the fundraising for our flight aviary.

It measures a whopping 20' X 20', has a shade cloth roof (for now) and a couple of new birdgyms. Because it has a 2" x 4" wire mesh (quite thick wire) we can flight train almost all our resuces (some 53 as of today).

It's been completed as of Friday, and today we had both macaws and cockatoos (each in turn) out in the free sunshine and air. . . . . what a spectacular relief for them.

Our next project: new manzinita perches (for goffins to scarlets, about 40 plus about a dozen perch stands.
