She is beautiful. I love the yellow. I think I would be calling her sunshine. sunbeam or buttercup. Daffodil or Daisy would fit her also. She needs a bright happy colorful name . But Jamie is a pretty name and I like that also.

Don't forget to give her lots of fresh fruits and veggies. Have fun with your new companion parrot :)

Hebrew names

I have some Hebrew names that would fit well. She looks like one of my Lovebird babies that I kept (color-wise). I named: Mabbuwa (mah-boo-ah) That means: Spring of Water... This is a masculine (M) word, I gave to my female bird. Achava (ah-kah-vah) (f)means Love. I looked up some other words brightness, shining is: Zohar (zo-har) (m). Bird: Tsippowr (zip-por-ah) (F) ( I like that one)... I could go on and on. I love strange names, and to be different. If you wish more, let me know. I can look up other languages as well.

Here a pic of my first Parakeet

Pretty Bird! Jamie is a good name or the other suggested that you liked. I tend to name my birds by their personality as all names mean something. I just find the right one to fit the personality except for one of my birds. She basically picked her name and I wasn't going to argue.

How about Solange (pronounced SOUL-ange) It's a French name meaning "Angel of the sun" Appropriate for a little yellow winged creature I think. Sundrop would also be cute
