Small Bird PlayPen

Do yourself and your bird a favor and do NOT purchase the "Activitoys Playgym" for small birds.

It's acrylic and primary colors are blue and yellow, with an avg. price tag at about 15$.

I needed a simple, easy to clean little playpen to act as a little snacking center for my lovies when they're out romping around, so mind you, they barely actually play on the darn thing; they just stop by occasionally for a little drink or a nibble.

I ordered it off the internet, and within days, the darn thing BROKE!!! One of my LB was on the so called perched and hopped off, and the thing just snapped at the cheesy joint.

I looked on the box, no contact information; I searched on the net, can't find a company website.

I got ripped off! 15$ for nothing! I could have gotten more usage out of a paper plate!

(Can you tell I'm upset?!)

It makes me so mad when I get ripped off like that. Thank you for posting and maybe this will help someone else avoid getting ripped off.

Small bird play pen

Have a picture of this playpen? I am not familiar with it but I sure don't think I would want to sell these if it broke so quickly.

Yeah... To think I could have purchased 2 pinatas and perhaps a bag of millet with that money instead...just makes me angry!

lol.

It was cheesy, but I didn't think it was THAT cheesy!

My birds got a total usage of about 2 minutes on it. Jumped on, perched, jumped off, broke, and scared the beejeezus out of him!

And my little birdie is TINY!

I just wanted to add that I agree that it is a rip off! I bought that same one for my parrotlet and he can't even use it because it is all plastic and he slips and slides on it like an ice rink since there is nothing to help him grip. Thanks for posting so more people don't get ripped off too!
