Here is one good site, search for others, just type in a search box "fruits and vegetables for pet birds"

Alicia,

Keets are fussy little birds! at least mine is! She learns to eat things by monkey see monkey do, from my tiel!

Her favorite foods so far is carrots and apples. She also loves parsley (she also takes bathes in it) and spinach leaves. She is begining to like brocolli both cooked and raw.

At first they either run from new food or ignore it totally! It also helps if you eat it to. and make lots of yum yum noises! and I swear if you tell them they can't have any, they want it more!!!! So you just have to be patient and don't give up on a food. keep giving it and eventually, they will try it.

the Outlaw finally helped this bird brain (me) by telling me to use my food processor instead of chopping my hand! (I'm really a blonde you know!) - no offence to the real blondes!
