Movement During Incubation

"Developing eggs are very fragile -- although the shell is extremely strong, the enclosed embryo is very delicate and can be adversely affected
by jarring or vibration"

Does this mean I cannot pick up the cage, even though I handle the cage very carefully. I have to do this because the mess under the cage has to be cleaned. What do you bird ppl have to say about this.

It's better to not move things around much as it could disturb the parents. The mother however usually would turn the eggs herself so if you carefully move the cage to a spot within a foot of the cage, I don't see a problem with it, but you really shouldn't be bothering the parents too much.
