I am crazy excited! I'll get into Dulles Airport at about 2:20 pm, from there it's straight to Mountain Valley Aviary to bring him home, and we are both thrilled!
I'm touched that you would be mindful of us. Sharing the experience and having others get excited about it here has been a real joy. Sadly, we don't have any bird loving friends where we live, so the friends we've made here have been a great support for us. 3 more days!!!

Hell, Michael, you'll have to add another day just to get away from Dulles! That has to be the heaviest traffic on the east coast. A normal one hour trip on off hours easily translates to 3 hours when you hit traffic.

It's true, these days are very long, compounded by the fact that I am away from Jenny and Hurley, which is bad enough in and of itself.
Nancy, don't remind me about Dulles. I hate traffic, but I can get direct flights from Dulles, and I'd rather spend 4 hours in a car with Jenny, then fly from Roanoke and spend time sitting in an airport alone.

One Day More...... I did not live until today......
We are so very excited to bring Feo home tomorrow!!!! I can't believe he's almost here. Hurley and I have spent the day getting his cage all set, laying down newspaper, and Feo-proofing the house. We're especially excited that Michael will be home again :D Pictures a plenty will be coming soon!
