Possible danger with food/water dish

I'm posting this because I think this can be a possible danger to any bird. I tried to intruduce this to Neo as a water dish he was out playing and I showed it to him and he got to excited and tried to jump in it head first. If I hadn't been with him he could have gotten stuck and drowned possibly the clear plastic doesn't lift off. I got the size meant for budgies but I think any bird who loves to bathe or is curious may jump in it. And even if it has food in it I'm afraid they'd try to go in. So if you have it or getting it use caution. Remember every bird is different more are prone to accidents.

Its funny you mention that Carrie, because I too was looking at feeders for my birds, and was thinking of one of those feeders as a possibility. However, I too noticed the possibility, and danger of the design of the feeder. I thought my budgies could easily drown.

yep if there is a danger to something Neo can usually find it! I try to watch him when I first give him something because he's had a couple of accidents because of his no fear nature!
