I couldn't seem to get him to stop flying off of his perch. So I thought I'd try and associate it with a command and shape the behavior rather than eliminate it.

Maybe someday I will be in a position to allow Tiki free flight.....but for now, safety delegates clippings all around.

Sadly, the saga of a flighted Feo has come to an end, or at least a break. Today he flew around so much it was unmanagable and I feared he might hurt himself. So we took one more feather from each side. I don't want to make him sink like a rock, just need to keep him from lifting off.
