dusty birds

Can someone refresh my memory...I heard a long time ago that Cockatoos are very "dusty" birds and are not helpful to people with asthma, such as myself. But I can't seem to remember if I'm just getting the names mixed up here...are cockatiels also dusty or am I just confused?? : Thanks

Stasia:

All birds produce dust, but the ones that REALLY produce copious amounts are Cockatoos, Cockatiels and African Greys. The Toos are usually the ones that really wreak havoc on asthmatics, myself being one of them. I can't be in a closed room with toos for more than 15 minutes before disaster strikes.
