I've shown Tiki the Koi before.... she oooooOOOHHHHhhhhh's at them, but I never let her real close....

Yes, that does seem to be the case. My birds when strolling around the pool area often stop over at the fish pond to take a peek.
On another note, I sure hope that you keep a lid or screen on your tanks. Last year a member on another board came home to find her little Severe or maybe it was a moustache parakeet drowned in her fish tank. Her boyfriend had left the bird out and didn't supervise it.

Oh yes that is a good point to bring up because birds do seem attracted to fish. But no worries all of my tanks have complete hoods
Which does bring to mind what I tell all people thinking of getting a bird...especially a large bird. They need to have their home as though they had a toddler. If a toddler can get into it so can a bird.Bonnie |
