Dominion - OT??

I recently read a very interesting book by Matthew Scully called Dominion: The Power of Man, The Suffering of Animals and the Call to Mercy.

The book explores the biblical dominion granted to man over animals and what this means regarding their treatment.

Mr. Scully is a conservative political writer who has even written speeches for George Bush. His views on animal welfare are very different from the typical conservative and are thought provoking.

I heartily recommend it to anyone who has even a passing thought about the welfare of animals. I would hope that would cover most of those that belong to this board.

I would also be interested in the opinions of anyone here that has already read the book.
