I'll give you 3 guesses as to what I'm so excited about..................OK, I'll just tell you.

In a week, I get to meet my baby Timneh!!! I'm so excited, I could just burst. I confirmed the time with Len (the breeder) today. Now you know this week is going to just go so incredibly slow. I don't know if I told you or not, but Len did get the DNA results back, and IT'S A BOY!!!! His name will be Joey!

And don't worry, I will have my camera with fresh batteries in it!

I have heard nothing but good things about Len's babies. I think respect for him is right up there with Jean Pattison. I also know of a few people that he's delivered babies to. And these people didn't live anywhere near him. If that's not dedication, I don't know what is. I just wish I was able to bring Joey home on Sunday. He's not going to be ready until September or October. But that's fine, because Tim and I still haven't finished unpacking. The spot where Joey's cage will go has boxes and things everywhere. Next week, I will order his cage. I'm shopping around for a good one at a reasonable price. If anyone knows of any you can PM me.

I think that Len sells cages, too. Not sure. Otherwise, I use an Ebay vendor called First Flight Birds. The owner is Howard, tell him I sent you and he'll sell you the cage you want for the opening bid price. You won't even need to do the auction.

Nancy, I know Len sells cages, too. He actually asked if I'll need a cage. I'll talk with him about that on Sunday. But I also know, I might be able to find something cheaper. I'll check out Howard, thanks for the suggestion.
