Doogie pics!
Hello everyone, and Happy Sunday! LOL!
Well, I have some great news to tell everyone. My dad and I went to visit little Doogie today. It was a 2 hour drive, but so worth it. I don't think my dad liked the drive, though. But anyway's, Doogie was so happy to see his mommy again. We played all kinds of little games. He is still clumsy, as he is just a baby of course. I am teaching him step ups, it is not going to well, but I know he will get a hang of it. Oh, he did some hair surfing, I was doing feather surfing on top his head, LOL. He was all in my face, rubbing his body up and down on my check. It was hilarious. We laughed and talked with my breeder, Denise. She took us outside to meet her tiels and Amazon breeders. Oh, and of course Doogie's parents. I met Snoopy's brother and Ivory's daddy. Ivory's mommy died. and both Snoopy's parents died. It was nice to met Snoopy's baby brother. He looks just like my Snoopy. Well, I took pics and he will be home with us in two weeks. Look out for Doogie!!  Lisa

Lisa, little Doogie is adorable! I have heard good things about Caiques but at $8000 each in Australia, I am unlikely to find out for myself!

Your little bird is very cute and looks like he loves being loved on. Tiki you have to be kidding how come they cost so much in Australia?? You could count me out on ever owning one too if that is the going price. My goodnes for that kind of money I could buy a halfway decent used car.

Doogie is spectacular and I can tell you are quite smitten.
All of the imported birds are very expensive in Australia and since its illegal to import any new ones, the ones for sale are very dear. BG macaws sell for outrageous amounts (I think they are also in the 8K figure range). However, if memory serves, you can buy a RB2 for under $100! Its all relative.

Squirt - Got to love Caiques!
Here are a couple of pics of my buddy Squirt. He/She is 4 months old tomorrow. We ought to keep in touch and compare them as they get older, see how their different personalities develop.
