more stimulating enviorment?

Dandy the tiel is still quite the screamer I try to give her enough attention but she still has issues she's also been so hormonal right now. I have a question I was thinking about putting some posters up around her from birdtalk magazine so It would be pics of other birds do you think that would be scarry to her. I have them by my budgies cage and he sings to them. She is not very interested in toys she just hits and pecks on them every once in a while and if she can't destroy them right away she wants nothing to do with them. I try to give her destroyable toys but she comes and goes with her playing. Any other ideas on making her not so bored?

My tiels love to chew up those chinese finger traps. I buy them in bulk on the internet. They are less of a toy and more of something to just chew chew chew. It help out during hormonal times.

Plus you can take newspaper or any other paper and weave it through the cage bars.

Take millet spray and let your bird see you stick in inside a toilet paper roll, then stuff both ends with paper or paper towel. Let them figure out how to get it out. If she can't figure it out the first time, leave one end open the first time, then the second time block off both ends.

Provide full spectum lights over the cage for a couple hours per day.

Foraging toys like the one listed above are great for bored, hormonal, screaming birds.

I also like those treat cages that you can stuff millet spray into, those are great and takes time to get the millet out.

Dayna those are some great suggestions! Do you cut a slit in the paper roll so they can't get stuck? I've seen those finger traps I'll get some of those. I appreciate all the comments poor things just bored.
Also I do leave the cage open sometimes and she does come out I would just like it if she came out by stepping up more.

I have never seen a budgie or cockatiel get stuck. If that is a concern then I would cut it down the center just in case. My tiels don't like to go "in things". Some people's budgies or cockatiels might though.
