new bird?

ok guys i need help , ive been thinking of adding another bird into our lives , not now but soon :P As I already have apoicephalus id like to stick to that family , i visited a nature pet centers , not the one i worked at , but another location and they had a 2 year old cape parrot sweet lil bugger , I need to know what are the chances of my jardine getting along with him or her , should i worry about breeding if i get a female? How are there characters ?what size cage does it need , my jardine has a huge one :P

I think you'd be fine...they'll either get along, or not, but they'll have separate cages...so it'll work out...

...but in your case...I'd be worried about disease from the petstore you worked at...

In the States, the Cape parrots are pretty expensive (I think about $2000). If that fits in your budget, then by all means look into them. Jean Pattison, the African Grey expert, also breeds Capes, I think. You might want to post a few questions for her.

I have seen 2 so far in a pet store in Severna Park, Maryland. They are fairly large for medium sized parrots and seemed pretty smart.
