Thanks, Shea. I have admired the photos of your baby, too. I see we both are fond of photos of our babies with their wings spread.
I was so lucky to be at the breeder's when Cooper discovered his wings and took his first flight. I shall never forget the shocked look on his face. I was also there when he had an embarassing crash. I was holding him when he decided to give flight. He flew a straight shot from the table in the dining area where we were sitting to the refrigerator in the kitchen. He flew right into the fridge and fell like a stone flat on his back on the kitchen floor -- splat!! He turned over and, with a blushing face patch, waddled his way back to me and the breeder. We both laughed so hard at his clumsiness.
Let me tell you, his clumsiness did not last long. As he became more adept at flying, the breeder gradually clipped his wings. Anyway, just had to share the story of his flying mishap. It was truly funny, but maybe you just had to be there to know how funny it was.
