Favorite bird publications

I was just wondering what everones favorite bird publication was. Whether it be a magazine, a quarterly, or a scientific journal... What do you prefer to read?

My fav is bird talk alot of people say there to simple but I think there great especially this year they started doing a profile on diseases every month like pdd and things like that which I'm really into reading about. But I got an issue of a mag called bird times but they never sent me the bill to get it and I emailed them and I basically begged for them to take my money and send me more issues but they never sent me a bill or another issue. If you go to this website http://www.thebirdbrain.com/html/Books.cfm
They sell older mags and you can kinda get an idea of what's out there.

I usually enjoy getting Birds USA and Bird Talk. My mother can get me a subscription of Bird Talk for half off the original price (if not lower) though it's not something she does often. She's also gotten me a subscription to a horse magazine even though my mother hasn't owned a horse since she was a teenager...

I also get both of these, however, after my Bird Talk runs out I am going to let it lapse. It is a lot of the same, over and over.

I like Sally Blanchard's Companion Parrot Quarterly the best for substantive articles and reviews of new bird products. It does not have the glossy photos of BirdTalk but BirdTalk generally seems to have a lot of fluff to it. Just does not seem to go into detail like Blanchard's publication. And so long as everyone posts photos of their birds here, then I won't need BirdTalk for that fix. JMO.

magazines

The Watchbird, very good more in depth than Bird Talk, you get it if you're a member of the AFA

Good Bird Magazine- Blows Sally Blanchards rag out off the map

PsittaScene, the publication of the World Parrot Trust

Australian Bird Keeper, anyone keeping Australian species should be interested in this publication

The Auk, a scientific publication on all birds.

Good Bird magazine is great.
I also like Bird Talk for the little articles about all the different species.
