I just wanted to chime in about the compatibility of an ekkie and a grey. I have a male ekkie and a CAG. They do very well together, although separately caged. They hang out together on the boing and playstand. I am sure there are exceptions, but my CAG and ekkie are very similar personality-wise. My two are just far more subtle and complex than my amazon and U2. I find myself placing them together on one stand and the amazon and U2 on another.

Now, the shocking thing is that when all are put together, the most dominant of the group is my grey! She will give no ground whatsover to the others. She puts them all in their place!

how do ekkies get along w/the aussie birds like mine? I'd love for you to keep me in mind or on your list if you ever do decide to rehome Mai Tai. She is an exceptional bird and I really did like her when we met! such a sweetie!
