Get Better Mija!!!

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to drop a note saying "Get Better Mija!" Mija is my uncle's (whose Username is BGMacaw) precious Ruby Macaw who got her leg caught in one of her toys and seriously damaged her blood feathers AND her leg. She is okay, but had to be put under anesthesia in order to stop her blood loss and also to get a steroid shot for her leg. Again,

Thanks Sarah, Mija is doing fine. She layed low yesterday but was back to her old self by the evening bossing Rio around. The swelling in her leg is down and she is climbing everywhere, although she could stand on it and use it for climbing pretty much right after I got her free. And there's been no further bleeding. Poor baby. Its tough trying destroy a toy and not get injured in the process. Life is so unfair. Glad that Mija is doing so well. You just never know what they'll get into next.
