I got an aviary!!!!

I'm still stunned. lol.... I've been wanting one for soooo long.

I'm its third owner, it is 4'w x 6'l x 7't and cost me $60. 1''x2'' GAW fencing. I had a weird urge to check Craigslist and it was called "used aviary" second post down. I emailed right away, and picked it up the next day.

I'm so excited. It needs some work before I can put the girls in it, and they can't be in there together so I'm going to try to figure out a divider too, if not oh well, but it would be nice. I need to vinegar the wire and the frame also needs some childsafe spraypaint applied. I have to replace a bunch of hardware on it too, but all in all it's in excellent shape for a used aviary, and I still can't believe I got it for $60!!! With paint and hardware, It shouldn't be over $100; what a steal! The lady I got it from is moving to ID and can't take it with her.

It's still in pieces now, but I'll take some progress pictures over the next few weeks and post them.

Whoo Hoo. You can buy GAV wire at most feed stores. Just build the divider frames out of PVC and use stainless steel hose clamps to secure the wire. Easy as pie and inexpensive.
