Biting Budgie - Can it be TV?

I've heard, but find it hard to believe, that a budgie could become agressive enough to be 'nippy' because of television. Is this possible? My little one, Azi, occationally will bite for apparently no reason.
I also have a tiel...Azi's in love with her but she doesn't want to be bothered. Could it be that he's frustrated that she doesn't return his affection?
I'm trying to rule out thinking that sitting and watching TV with my lil boy is making him nasty.

Can't say much for the tv theory, though some birds can become frusterated when there is another bird around or something in the environment or routine have changed...
