what's your bird's favorite music?

Scarlett loves to talk, whistle, and chirp whenever there's noise here in the house--vaccuum, radio, a loud truck outside.

She enjoys music a lot but I've noticed her favorites are "Down With The Sickness" by Disturbed (a rather disturbing song!) and anything by Bob Marley. She sings and talks as usual when she hears them but she also dances on her boing.

What do your birds like?

They both really like Ray Charles and Cory likes Fleetwood Mac. Zen likes Hip Hop.

Ollie likes the Friends theme song just like her momma (I have all the episodes, and when i play them she just goes crazy), and she also likes Death Cab for Cutie...my boyfriends current choice of music.

Quaker

Well my quaker likes anything with a deep bass. So he can bob his head to it ..he really seems to enjoy it. The rest like music, I have not seen them have a preference to anything though.

They all love it better when the music is loud, then the whole house goes crazy...I love it..it's a chirp fest!!!

Corbett loves piano music. My husband plays piano and accordion and is really, really good.
Corbett sometimes sits on the bench w/my hubby and when he plays "it's not easy being green" it's just touching. Michele (smallonion) broke into tears one time because it looked so cute from the back. You could see my hubbands back and then a little amazon sitting next to him. Really cute

well the song "Surfin Bird" gets the head bobbers here going. Miss Peach is too refined to partake of such foolishness and just watches. theres always a critic, even a birdie one.

Abbie always dances to "Kings Of Leon" from the older Volkswagen commercial, and my old favorite Bob Seegar collection! (Old Time Rock And Roll!)
She loves to dance to just about any music while saying "Dance Abbie!" :o)
If I could just get her to dance while she's whistling!

I know what happened...I must have logged in from my mom's computer when I was home and didn't log out. But it's true - Corbett sitting next to my mom's husband on the piano bench while he played "it's not easy being green" brought me to tears!

As for Humphrey, her favorite music is a French ambient group called Air. We call it the Birdie Calming Music. When she's upset we put it on and she chills out. :-)
