if I have kids, I'm all set

Whenever I'm sitting here in the front room at the computer, I have Scarlett with me. She loves to sit on my arm and just sing to music or talk to me.

Well, that involves a lot of bird poop on my lap--even though always goes before she comes out of her cage. (someone must have taught her to do that before she got here)

Doesn't even faze me anymore. Just wipe it up and go on with my life. Baby vomit here I come!

aaahhh yes, the stinky old days. projectile vomiting, worried calls to the pediatrician, messy diapers. got to admit, don't miss them at all right now. but I will say that cockatoo poo reminds me of baby poo in some cases with the smell.

our next dealing with babies is grandchildren. then we can spoil them and send them home to their folks. I can't wait!

but my mother always likes to remind me, grandchildren are your reward for letting your teenagers live. altho I was a perfect child....

Ok, so now I can kinda understand how people feel about their kids. I don't want to leave my baby (6 month old quaker parrot) to even go to work in the morning. I go, of course, because we both still need to eat. I am even more afraid now to have children because how do you leave them?

I'm also glad to know that I'm not the only one who'se pooped on.
