Check this out
Bird Poop Art!! They call it splay art.
http://www.monpa.com/ba/exhibition1/barn.html Someone posted the link in one of my Yahoo groups. I wonder how much I could get for a umbrella cockatoo morning splay? LOL I am looking at the bottom of the bird cages and seeing a fortune. Hmmmmm Maybe I will frame a pic of Tyler with her biggest and best poop and see if I could Ebay it as splay art LOL. I could probably spray it with epoxy to keep it from crumbling. Lynda |

I have actual bird art...
Zen had been living under our entertainment center on and off for the past year. We moved over the weekend and were scared of what we'd find under there. We found the most beautifully constructed nest - I wish I could have put it in a box frame or something. I have pictures I will upload tomorrow.

I do have pictures, but I don't have the digital with me - I'll upload them tomorrow.
I always give her the junk mail and catalogs we get. Also toilet paper rolls. The paper was so tightly packed into the corners it was almost like a solid piece. We found a total of 7 eggs, in 3 different places (we already knew she was a compulsive egg layer - we're picking our battles). There were 0 droppings under the entire entertainment center - there was one on a piece of paper behind it, but none underneath. I probably don't have to tell you what we expected. Also, the space she used was underneath the DVD player, and it may have been hot in the center, because she packed all the paper against the walls with a totally clear almost teardrop shape in the center. It was so beautiful. I'll definitely show you the pictures tomorrow. By the way - we closed off the back of it when we moved so she can't live under it, but if she gets too crazy and tries to destroy the furniture again, then we'll let her have it again. Right now she has a box on the bottom shelf of the entertainment center but she's not used to the new house yet so she hasn't gone in it that much.
