I am SHOCKED

I am shocked that birds are still being imported anywhere. I have always thought that Europe and especially England were so progressive and way ahead of the rest of the world.

And yet the subjects of the crown, still let this barbaric practice go on ??? Here! Here! I suggest that the people of England, lead the way in stopping this practice. Write your public officials. Write your newspapers. Stop importing birds NOW !!!

The next thing will be the government taking your pet parrots in the name of staving off the bird flu. Don't laugh. It can and will happen.

The Queen has no power - Blair has all the power and as you have to free trade to be part of the EU (including animals) then he won't risk war with the other EU nations by banning imports.
