Sassy was on her best behavior the first week here; this week she is showing her "true" colors. Not so much a bad thing, however, we have a lot of learning to do with this little one.
Bedtime has turned into a real challenge....... she doesn't like to be covered, won't go to a nite-nite cage, and screams, screams, screams. Last night hubby put a nite lite near her cage and she was quiet. Me thinks she is afraid of the dark?
She is also fairly quiet until hubby is in the room - get out those ear plugs because she is going to scream and carry on. We have learned she likes buttons so hubby has to find some "old" shirts that he can wear; hubby is slowing learning that good shirts/t-shirts aren't appropriate wear when wearing a parrot!
Sassy has turned into a challenge for me, as I am the one she likes only when it is convenient for her! She will give me kisses, and tolerates a little bit of my attention.

I have seen you have mentioned Sassy in another thread but I couldn't figure out what kind of bird Sassy was then ~ still can't. I looked in your signature...no Sassy there either. What kind of bird is this Sassy pants? Have you posted a picture of her?

I like nightlights on in the house, maybe Sassy does too :)

I think Sassy is a Too, but I was also wondering why she isn't in your signature. I am having the same problems with my grey at night time. She is about 6 months old. She doesnt scream though...that sounds like a Too problem!! It does sound like she may be afraid of the dark, the night light is probably a good idea. Wish that would work for me....

if its a Too, have fun. My M2 has a scream that could peel paint, and theres times she ain't afraid to use it!

Yes, Sassy is Cassie - I have now changed my signature - OOPS!
I can only hope the night light works again tonight; I can't stand to hear her screaming - I have to restrain myself from bringing her to bed with us!

Ahhhh the lovely goffins scream! Have fun with that one, sounds like her name fits her! Goffins are cute, fun, and sure as heck sassy!!!! Although they are the smallest of the too's, they are the biggest in personality!
