EXTREMELY happy with baby B&G!!!

Finally got my not so little B&G a few days after the hurricane Wilma. I've just been having so much fun with him I havn't made the time to post.. until now! :D

He's amazing. He's extremely cuddly and especially curious with his beak, he has to tongue and beak everything in his path ( he's especially interested by human fingers and shirts). The funniest thing he does thus far when hes up on my shoulder is he starts "preening" my ear giving it little tugs and whatnot , and then he'll breath into my ear with these funny little noises , and everytime it gives me goosebumps. If you've ever had someone whispering in your ear in a way that tickles you , its about the same sensation.

He is extremely smart too, after just a couple tries he is potty trained. I got the idea of how to do it from posts here on the birdboards. Basically if its been 10 minutes or so I have him sit up on my arm and hold him over something and say "BOMBs AWAY!" and off he goes. Also he starts acting antsy if he has to go while im holding him to let me know that hes about to "bombs away". THis is a huge plus seeing as how his bombs are quite a bit bigger than my blue headed pionus' ;P

He's friendly towards everyone and will go to anyone that has the guts to hold him. I have an aviator harness for him that I will probably be having him try out today. I think he won't have any problems wearing it or putting it on as he is totally comfortable being stroked anywhere -- he loves being stroked under his wings especially, it also sends him into a preening frenzy that is followed by cute little squeaks.

Anyway just wanted to let everyone know I got him and thanks for all the information on this board that ultimately led me into choosing this very special feathered friend.

Congratulations, fellow B&G baby-owner! I can totally relate to your thrilling description of your baby "whispering" in your ear. Have you yet experienced the "foghorn" call of a macaw? That's a treat, too, but of a different kind. I used to require a stiff jolt of caffeine in the morning, but hearing a macaw's call of the wild in the morning shower makes a good substitute!

And yes, we need photos please!
