San Diego Zoo... Pics are Up

I made a trip down to the World Famous San Diego Zoo and took quite a few pictures... I was kind a suprised that they didnt have more parrots but had quite a few lorikeets in some of the walk though aviaries... just couldnt get any good pics as they were in the thick rainforest like vegitation... but was able to catch a African Grey and some other weird looking birds.... one in particular i swear I looked at that guy for awile and still was like WOA!! He must have been twice the size of a turkey...

thats the zoo? it looked a little like the wild animal park! very cool pictures I love them!

I looked again the zoo is the only one with the pandas, and the wild animal park does have quite a bit more parrots that was my favorite part of the whole thing when I went back in september

I especially love the orangutan pictures! (monkeys are a big favorite of mine)
What is that bird in the pictures with the African Grey? The one with the yellow beak.

Great pics! I was at the San Diego zoo about 6 years ago, but it looks like there is a lot more there now!

I believe it's a turaco of some sorts... can't seem to properly identify it, though someone guessed riso? Maybe it's a ross's turaco?
