Avilite Lamp
I've never used full-spectrum lighting for birds in the past but it seems to be something that is recommended. Right now it's just Beetle; the link above shows a lamp that I could easily place near his cage (it rests on a table in my living room). I work from 2pm-10pm, M-F so I would I leave the lamp on during those hours? Beetle usually wakes between 8 and 10am and is fairly active until I go to work (playing, bathing, etc.). He's also active until about midnight or so, so I'd imagine that he's napping a bit when I'm not at home... Anyway, I don't know much about lighting and a bird's need for it so if anyone has advice, I'd appreciate it! -e-

Eliza:
We did a bunch of full spectrum posts and threads last year. Why not do a search and see what comes up?
