Life With Jealous Redheads

AyatLeila & Viridian Rose have decided that I am supposed to only give attention to them (individually), & such attention is to be available at all times.

This results in my giving them (severally) attention, any time I am still long enough (except when in the facilities, where the door is locked) to be perched upon.

They have each picked a shoulder,

Viridian Rose insists on the right (dexter), while AyatLeila will have only the left (sinister). At least now they have worked through the "partitioning" of my perchable surfaces, so I no longer fear "war wounds from jealousy induced fights across my head & face.

JetanLori,
shalom chaver(ah)! Ma Shlomcha(ech)? The ladies are two out of six, the other four are Rivka,BG & BG Banu {sometimes called princess} (Ara Ararauna) & O'Hara (Ara Macao). BG & BG Banu are supposed to eventually be bonded (my plan, apparently not theirs). Rivka is my pet (to remain out of breeding, because of genetic flaw resulting in inward subluxation of the distal phalanges on digit three of both feet). O'Hara is a male that may eventually be paired with AyatLeila (if she gets the urge). Here in Beit Ha Tukiot it is always a rainbow whirlwind, leaving things a bit hegdesh.

FelisDomesticus
Seems that Viridian Rose will likely be a permanent resident of Beit Ha Tukiot. She does not like other people, not even a little bit. She doesn't try to hide, or panic; rather, she tries to attack them. Since I can afford to keep her, & provide for her future, I've decided to let her stay here. If she eventually decides that other people are interesting (as something other than a snack). she may find a different home. I am quite happy to have her live here for life.

Hi Yehudasf, I have to say that it is quite difficult to understand parts of your post, I believe that you kow much more than I when it comes to birds as I have no idea what an in inward subluxation of the distal phalanges on digit three of both feet) is. Well actually now I do that you've told me but I would have just said, her feet are screwed up. Also the names of your birds are very unusual. What exactly is Beit Ha Tukiot, is that kabutz (sp?) Regardless they are specatular birds.
