Sweet Pea,
I am so sorry..... words can not express how sorry I am....you were my first bird, my first love, you were the one who always kept the whole flock literally on their toes... You were the one who would willing climb into my shirts... you always trusted me to keep you safe.... and I am so sorry I let you down... I feel utterly stupid, and lost... and I am so sorry for Lily... who laid on top of you in your final moment.. who ultimately led me to your body... only if.. only if... I found you when your body was still warm... I am so sorry... Only if.. only if... I found you seconds sooner... I am so very sorry.... I never cried so much for anyone, or anything... but for you... My 'lil PP bird... my one and only hen.... Ohmigawd... i still cannot believe it... I kept wishing and willing for you to wake up... I put you in the little box.. and I could not even bear to see them laid you to rest... I love you so much...and I always will... Mommy loves you my sweet PP bird.....
