A Cory story

I've accepted Jodi's challenge to talk even more about my birds, but this is all I have to say today:

I've been singing "You are My Sunshine" and "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" to Cory during our morning shower. Yesterday the whole time I was singing to her, she kept doing her special "Daddy whistle" that he taught her that she uses to call him. Then she'd say "Daddy". I kept telling her that Daddy was at work, but she wouldn't give up. Then I told her she better give me some love as I had to work last night and she wouldn't see me, but she just wanted her Daddy. Well, I pouted, but I got over it.
This morning she redeemed herself by saying "Mama" when I sang "You are my sunshine". Of course tomorrow she might not love anyone - you just never know - so I have to appreciate the small things.

I have noticed that Elwoodblue, my b&g speaks quite a bit to Buck Buck, my U2! Last night I asked Buck Buck to step up so we could go out to the porch to join his brothers on their play stands. I was trying to convince him to step up, and in chimes Elwoodblue from the porch "COME ON". Too funny.

Dreamer and Sailor were exploring the nether regions of the bird room when I heard one of them say "Just what are YOOOOOU doin?"

I don't know which one spoke, for they were hiding under Sailor's cage plotting another raid on the nut can.
