Just Amazing
I just thought that everyone would find this interesting. The other day, I went shopping with my sister in law to find a GCC or some other type of bird for her as a pet. She had called a woman from the local trader magazine that had parrots for sale. When we got there, in her living room was a cage with a blue jay in it (yeah the wild kind that you see every day). AND IT TALKED!!!
I could not believe it. It said come in, I better be good and bye. She said that she found it in a tree that her husband had cute down when it was a baby and she has had it ever since. (of course she did not want to sale him, though I offered a good bit of money for it, can't blame a girl for trying right |

It's said that finches can talk, but no proof. Crows, ravens, blackbirds, and even european starlings can learn to talk...

Blue jays are in the corvid family along with crows, ravens, and magpies and, as Monica has already said, most corvids can learn to talk. Corvids are considered by many to be the most intelligent family of birds... even over parrots, if you can believe it.
