I got a kick out of that comment!! So true, that's exactly what my tiel seems to be thinking when he plays with my diamond necklace. When my husband gave that to me years ago, I never would have imagined it was to become my future fids favorite play thing!! Haha!

Cami can take out my husband's earrings (clasp, not stud... no swallowable parts) by unclipping them, pulling them out, reclipping them, then flying off with it before he even realized what happened.

After quite a few instances of chasing a cockatiel around the room to retrieve the stolen earring, he finally stopped wearing them around her.

Casey my tiel loves shiny objects as well! And the new tiels love anything thin, such as leather strips, bands, etc! Well, atleast the chicks do...

And no Tara, I am no belly dancer! My stomach only makes it half way, and well I'm not really a dancer cause of my knees...

Actually, Monica sounds like a writer. Awesome description of what the little fid must be thinking.

My writing skills aren't really that great! Sometimes I can write stories or short descripts, but I'm far from being good! If I write anything, it's usually poems (like the one in my signature). I usually tend though to have a little of everything (I enjoy art, poetry, construction, building things with my hands, arranging things to come out with something pretty, etc...)
